Tom's Swim Against Malaria

My name is Tom. I like to swim.

On 30 June, I will be “competing” in the Henley Classic, a 2.1km swim up the River Thames (along the Henley Royal Regatta course). It’s a unique challenge, as you start the swim in the dark (4.30am) and swim, against the current, as the “sun” rises.

I will be swimming to raise money for Against Malaria, a charity that I have been following closely for a while, whose main aim is to reduce the 1million preventable deaths caused by malaria each year.    more >>
