I am from Burkina Faso, but currently based in Nairobi. As researcher my focus is on malaria. I have recently done research in North West Burkina Faso for my PhD.
In this region 20% of infant death is due to malaria.
During this study, based at the Nouna Research Centre (www.crsn-nouna.org), I have provided treatment to sick children and also distributed 500 betnets.
Obviously this was not enough for a population of about 250,000.
