Pre-swim:

Georgia has 100 miles of coastline along the Atlantic Ocean. The furthermost northern point of Georgia's coast begins in Savannah, our home town.

Savannah Swim Team, a year-round competitive USA swimming club, plans to swim the 100 miles from Savannah down south to Florida's stateline...in a pool, though, not by sea.

Our team will combine for a total of 100 miles or 165,000 yards or 6,600 laps during practice Monday, December 5th (we will be competing in a meet December 3rd). more >>
