AIESEC - Philippines

Our friends at PricewaterhouseCoopers introduced us to World Swim Against Malaria.

We are familiar with the effects of malaria here as some parts of the Philippines are particularly badly affected.

In the Philippines AIESEC, an international, non-political, non-profit, student-managed, exchange organization is represented in 8 institutions and in the three largest islands of the country.

All the universities will be involved as we gather 5,000 to swim. We will involve local communities too.

We are debating the collective target distance we will set ourselves. A km for each of the 7,107 islands of the Philippines maybe? If so, we better start swimming…
