An LLIN is a mosquito net impregnated with insecticide.

The insecticide is cleverly bound within the fibres that make up the netting and is 'slow released' over a 4-5 year period. Hence 'long lasting'.

The second phase of distributing 301,600 nets in Zambia involves the distribution of 167,000 nets to a series of communities across eastern, southern and northern Zambia. More detailed information will be added here once final net numbers and village details have been confirmed.
