Summary
Nets will be distributed in all eleven Health Zones of Nord Ubangi (North Ubangi) district, one of the five districts of Equatéur Province, to achieve universal coverage (all sleeping spaces covered) across a population of some 1.3 million people. This will the first stage of a two stage net distribution approach that has the specific objective of maintaining sleeping space coverage at or above 80% for a period of four years.
Nets will be distributed in all eleven Health Zones of Nord Ubangi (North Ubangi) district, one of the five districts of Equatéur Province, to achieve universal coverage (all sleeping spaces covered) across a population of some 1.3 million people. This will the first stage of a two stage net distribution approach that has the specific objective of maintaining sleeping space coverage at or above 80% for a period of four years. The second stage will involve continuous monitoring of net use and condition, and also net gaps, with additional net distribution as appropriate via 'routine distribution' mechanisms.
Details
Non-net costs are all costs associated with a net distribution excluding the cost
of the nets themselves. Non-net costs include: all shipping, pre-distribution, distribution
and post-distribution costs. Pre-distribution activities include establishing accurate
net need per household based on a count of sleeping spaces and existing, useable
LLINs. Post-distribution activities include surveys, at 6-month intervals for a
period of 3-4 years, of 5% of the nets distributed to assess net use and condition.
