Marathon in Medieval Armour - GWR Attempt for AMF

I'm running the Edinburgh Marathon on 24th May 2026 in full medieval plate armour weighing 27kg — attempting the Guinness World Record for the fastest marathon in armour. The current record (6:46:59) has stood unbroken since 2008. Every penny raised goes directly to the Against Malaria Foundation. No admin fees. No expenses taken. 100% buys bed nets for families at risk of malaria. A £5 donation provides 2 nets and protects a family for 3-4 years. Please donate — I'm doing this either way.
