Youth AMF is a dedicated service group under Against Malaria Foundation Korea, based at North London Collegiate School Jeju, with the mission to support AMF's heroic work, one net at a time. With 20+ passionate members, we fundraise to help AMF purchase and distribute long lasting insecticidal nets in regions heavily affected by Malaria. Through activities like in-school fundraising, securing of charity funds, collaboration with local competitions and MUN conferences, we not only fundraise, but promote the issue altogether.

In the near future, we aim to host an AMF themed music recital where the musical talent of many international schools in Jeju will be used to raise awareness to fund for the fight against Malaria. Currently, we are one of the biggest (if not, certainly one with the greatest public presence) service/campaign groups in North London Collegiate School Jeju. And our goal for this year is expansion to other international schools in Jeju.
But for us, Youth AMF is not about raising money and organizing activities - it's about stepping up as students to initiate meaningful change. We do this because we believe no one should lose their life to a disease that is preventable. Malaria takes the lives of over 60 people per hour, and with just a few dollars a net can provide shelter to 2 people for 3 years. We are aware of problem and we know the solution. We know that each net we fundraise may be the reason someone lives to see tomorrow.
