Graham Nelson

Graham is a board member and director of AMF Korea.

Graham is a British diplomat, mathematician and musician, who entered international relations hoping to help tackle some of the world's most pressing problems. He is particularly passionate about alleviating poverty and inequality, and improving the health and wellbeing of the world’s most vulnerable populations. Graham's focus on using data and evidence to maximise impact led him to discover AMF, which he is proud to support as a donor and director.

Graham has spent over 15 years living and working in East Asia, and speaks Chinese, Japanese and Korean. He presently lives with his family in Seoul. Outside of his work, Graham is working to improve access to and raise awareness of effective giving opportunities in Korea, and help young people consider how they can make an impact in their lives.

Seok Pyo Hong

Seok Pyo is a board member and auditor of AMF Korea.

Seok Pyo Hong is a partner at Lee & Ko. His main areas of practice include insolvency and corporate restructuring, WTO/FTA & international trade law, general and construction litigation, trust law related matters and mergers and acquisitions. Seok Pyo has participated in many international trade matters as a legal advisor. He has also been involved in hostile M&A transactions. In addition, he specializes in general and construction litigation.

He studied at the Seoul National University College of Law and at the Judicial Research and Training Institute, Supreme Court of Korea and was admitted to the bar in Korea in 2007.

Seok Pyo is fluent in Korean and English.

Robert Browell

Robert is a board member and director of AMF Korea.

He is a British national and a partner at PwC based in Seoul, South Korea, and has been advising businesses on international tax and M&A transactions for over 20 years. Robert spent the first 10 years of his career working at PwC in the UK and transferred to South Korea in 2012. Since then he regularly helps multinational organizations understand the tax related issues with investing and doing business in Korea.

Robert is a director and treasurer at the European Chamber of Commerce in Korea, Chairperson of the Taxation Committee at the European Chamber of Commerce in Korea and Special Advisor to the British Chamber of Commerce in Korea. Robert holds a master degree in Mathematics from the University of Sheffield and is a qualified Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales and a Chartered Tax Advisor with Chartered Institute of Taxation.

Robert lives with his wife and two sons in Seoul and enjoys spending weekends hiking trying to encourage his kids to the top of mountains.

Sang-Hee Rha

Sang-Hee is a board member and director of AMF Korea.

She is a Partner at PwC Korea. Sang-hee is a qualified USCPA with over 15 years of professional experience in the area of audit and accounting, including stints as CFO of subsidiaries of multinational companies in Korea.

Born in the UK to a Korean expat family, she spent a significant portion of her upbringing and education abroad, residing in the UK, USA, Australia, Spain, and Italy for more than half of her life. Her exposure to diverse countries and environments has nurtured a profound passion for advocating equal treatment and opportunities for all. She is a participant in the Empower initiative recently launched by the Embassy/BCCK.

With a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from the UK and previous work experience as an architect, Sang-Hee remains an enthusiastic art gallery-goer during her leisure time.

Sang-Hee is fluent in both Korean and English.

ByungJin Lee

ByungJin is a board member and auditor of AMF Korea.

BJ’s career has been in assisting global companies in expanding and investing seamlessly across international borders. He has more than 20 years of experience in global corporate services and professional organizations, working extensively with foreign and Korean multinational corporations. He is a strong believer in the transformative power of charitable giving.

BJ earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Chung-Ang University in Seoul. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant from the State of New Hampshire (USA) and registered as a foreign CPA with the Korea Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Born and raised in Seoul, BJ continues to reside happily in the city with his wife JiYoun. Both have a great passion for golf and skiing.

BJ is fluent in Korean and English.

Peter Sherratt

Peter is a board member and director of AMF Korea. He is the Executive Chairman of AMF and was one of its original trustees in 2004.

He is a barrister by training, and worked in the City in international financial law for 25 years, dealing with multiple billion £ issues and negotiating with governments and major corporations. He has a strong interest in development through effective altruism having given 20% of earnings to charity. He is also actively involved in inner city projects and serves on the board of the KPMG Foundation and the Business Advisory Council of Oxford Business School.

Peter studied jurisprudence at Oxford University and a masters in international trade at Cambridge University.

He lives with his wife Lesley in Cambridge. They have two grown up daughters. Peter loves to swim outdoors, completing a solo England to France in 12hrs 22mins.

Rob Mather

Rob is a board member, director and President of the Board of AMF Korea. He is the Founder and CEO of AMF (UK) and other AMF entities.

He is a British National. In 2005, he started World Swim Against Malaria by persuading twenty people to give him 5,000 swimmers each. Rob's business background is in strategy consulting, event management and publishing. He studied at Cambridge University (chemical engineering) and has an MBA from Harvard.

He loves all sport and used to be a half decent football player (so he says) once upon a time. He now runs, cycles, skis and mountain climbs and was pleased with a sub 4 hr marathon given his advanced age. Rob was awarded an MBE by Her Majesty The Queen in the 2021 New Year's Honours list for services to medicine and charity.

He lives in London with his wife Catherine and four children aged 24, 22, 20 and 18.
