Kavre is one of the highest risk malaria districts in the country. There is no existing LLIN use in the area. Five villages will be targeted: Jyamdi, Sathighar, Gairibisauna, Chandeni, Devbhumi.

The nets will be distributed to target households in collaboration with local community based organisations.

Surveys take place 6, 18, 30 and 42 months post-distribution. A survey of 50 households provides sample information on what proportion of nets continue to be used, if they are used correctly and the state of the nets.
