Malaria is endemic in The Gambia and the rainy season is the worst time when incidence is high.

Nets will be distributed to children under 5, pregnant women, people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) and diffentially abled people living in the town of Jan Jan Bureh on MacCarthy Island.

Survey status

Surveys take place 6, 18, 30 and 42 months post-distribution. A survey of 50 households provides sample information on what proportion of nets continue to be used, if they are used correctly and the state of the nets.
