2009. Year of the beard.
Whilst travelling and working around Africa, I saw many bad cases of Malaria and even caught it myself twice. I know that throwing money at a problem isn't always the answer and that many charitys can be wasteful. This is why I was careful to choose Against Malaria for my donations.
Much to my girlfriends protests, I've decided that in return for your kind donations, I will spend the whole of 2009 without shaving. I'll post regular visual updates and blog via my myspace and facebook pages. I plan to raise money in other ways too, which I'll add to my blogs as they arise.
