This bednet distribution will be conducted by Peace Corps Volunteers within 6 Sub-Regions in Senegal from July-August 2009. As Peace Corps Volunteers, we speak the local language, live in the field for 2 years, are college educated and passionate about fighting malaria. No one else can better implement pre-distribution education outreach activities, distribute nets nor evaluate its impact more effectively than us volunteers.
We want to distribute 6500 nets, and because Against Malaria is matching funds raised, means we need to raise $13,000 USD ($2 per net, cheapest in the world). Please donate to a great cause, you will be able to see (we will have pictures and video) where and who your nets go too. Thank you.
100% of the money received through this page, linked pages, and any other funds directed to us offline and indicated to be for the same project, will buy LLINs for PCV Senegal's distribution.
