Orissa nets

We are working with a small charity in Orissa, India where the problem of malaria is alarming. Orissa has 3% of the population, 30% of malaria cases, and of those 95% are falciparum, the most dangerous type, which can become cerebral and very quickly claim lives.

This is the home page for a range of initiatives to raise money for our fight against malaria. Along with fellow medical students and local charities, we are organising many fundraisers such as the 'University of London swim against malaria', 'Annithing against malaria' and many other events until December 2009.

We aim raise enough money to distribute 20,000 nets in 2010 in India. Please help us reach that target! Thanks.
