Hello everyone!

I am working on my PhD at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, where I have already learned a great deal about malaria. Unfortunately not enough is known yet to cure the disease, people are still being infected by this awful parasite, and lots of children die from it.

On December 2, 2005 I will swim 1 kilometre for the World Swim for Malaria in order to raise money for bednets, which is the single best measure to prevent people from becoming infected.    more >>
