I am the parent of a swimmer...not really a swimmer myself. But I happen to be a parasitologist and once upon a time did research on malaria. So here I am, planning to swim (I won't say how far) and raise $ for bed nets. We are SO lucky to live in an area without devastating parasitic diseases.
