Post-swim update:

Our turnout did not match the sign-ups, probably because of the low temperature reading (36 degrees for our 8:00am start) and an unheated outdoor pool (yes, it can be cold in sunny California). However, those who came had a great time and we should end up somewhere between $850 and $1000 in collected pledges for the swim. We had excellent publicity from the local newspaper and were proud to be part of this worldwide effort.    more >>
