Kids swim for malaria

Post-swim update:

This was a wonderful experience for all of us especially the kids who were the majority. We met in the evening in a YWCO swimming pool...being cold we could not risk swimming outdoors! We had two great sponsors who agreed to give us respectively $5 and $4 for every length swam! With this in mind, every one was determined to swim as many lengths as possible, enabling us to raise a total of $2,070 (414 mosquito nets!!) BRAVI!

Pre-swim:

I am a malaria researcher and I thought this is a good opportunity for me to give a 'physical' and monetary contribution to the fight against malaria and also to involve my child in what takes me to work every day. more >>
