Did you know that mosquitoes can kill? I do. In 1992, Joan Provost, my mom, died of malaria. A preventable treatable disease. Unfortunately, every 30 seconds an African child dies from a malaria infection transmitted by a mosquito bite. 3,000 children a day. That's 7 jumbo jets full of children every day.

Malaria can be prevented through a simple, inexpensive measure: sleeping each night under a net treated with insecticides that kill mosquitoes or stop them from biting.    more >>
