African Rural Schools Foundation provides affordable education to disadvantaged children in rural Uganda. We currently have two locations--a primary school of 400 students in Mutundwe (Divine Foundation) and a soon-to-be-developed Trinity Vocational Training Institute about two hours away. 200 children board at Divine Foundation and many of them are AIDS orphans. Right now the entire village is experiencing a malaria outbreak and we plan to foil those pesky mosquitos by providing every student, family member, staff person and villager with a bed net to prevent those itchy bites.
