My father, George Anderson "Andy" Hugh McClelland was a medical entomologist specializing in mosquitoes. He worked tirelessly in Africa for many years for the World Health Organization in order to help conquer malaria. He toured Africa many times and was fascinated b the beautiful cultures and people.
He passed away in 2005 after a long battle with prostate cancer, but he is sorely missed. In his honour, I have created this memorial fund to raise money for malaria nets which protect people from this dreadful disease.
