I'm looking forward to getting all gussied up for Mother's Day and sampling an elegant dip, but not at a champagne buffet. I'll be putting on a fancy dress to plunge into the chilly ocean, to bring attention to the fact that more than one million people, mostly children under 5, die of malaria every year. What does swimming in an evening gown have to do with malaria? Well it represents women washing away our societal differences to come together for a common cause. more >>
