Did you know that every thirty seconds a child in Africa dies of malaria?

Let's face it, if you are like me $5 is easily what I spend on Starbucks over a day or two. Yet that same $5 can make a difference in the life of an African child by providing a treated bednet.

Bednets are not a long-term solution; much-needed policies ensuring availability of high-quality drugs -- and a focus on better prevention methods will take time but we need to slow the scourge now. more >>
