Catholic Schools of Western Australia
"The Catholic Education Office of Western Australia represents some 160 schools
with a combined student population of 65,000.
We brought World Swim Against Malaria to the attention of our schools and asked if
some of them would like to swim. The response was wonderful.
Schools up and down the state have chosen to be involved.
In many it will be the senior students who will be taking a lead role in
organising teachers, school staff, family and friends, as well of as other
students of course, to be part of this global effort. Swimming is of course a
national pastime here in Australia.
This is a laudable initiative, bringing together people from across the world
to cooperate in making a fundamental difference to many people’s lives.
We applaud all of you who are involved."
