Thanks for all of your hard work everyone! It's very exciting to announce that 4,700 nets have arrived in Ghana and Togo to be distributed in communities near Tamale and Kante, respectively.
Stamp Out Malaria is a campaign initiated by the international peace through education pen pal organization Project PeacePal. We are raising money to buy as 4,700 mosquito bed nets (still the best way to prevent malaria) for our partners in West Africa (Ghana and Togo) by May of 2011.
Even in this age of advanced technology and medicines, malaria is still the largest cause of death in Africa. The nets cost $5.
