The East Mountains Roots & Shoots group is part of Dr Jane Goodall's international youth leadership program, Roots & Shoots. A group of 11 of the most dedicated elementary school students, we are working with PeacePals to raise money to send mosquito nets to people in Ghana. When the kids heard about the malaria problem in Africa, they said "we have to help". Having already raised $230 in previous fundraising activities toward the same end, we are excited to be embarking on such an amazing and worthwhile pursuit. more >>
