Post-swim update:

After a pre-match conflab with trainer Nedward, we swiftly moved to the hippo throwing event, where I managed to throw a new world record of 55cm!!! Allowing for cross winds and maternal assistance this beat the previous record of 42.45cm set by a small baby in Peru in 1976. This boded well for the other two events....

After a short warm down and debrief, I moved swiftly onto the main swimming event, where the 1 metre record for 'assisted paddling' was swiftly broken by a record time of 12 minutes and 23 seconds!!!

Buoyed by my staggering baby success we quickly moved on to the 'daddy soaking' where an across the board mark of five perfect 10s was achieved with the added bonus of a full set of dry clothing necessary for the victim, sorry, daddy!

As you can see from my pictures, we had a great time with the baby triathlon, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all my generous sponsors, my coach Nedward, the lads and lasses from the toy shelf, all at the baby group, my mother and father (without whom none of this would have been possible.    more >>
