I am a PR consultant that has been involved in the opening of a factory in Tanzania that is making the Olyset mosquito bed nets that prevent malaria. Having flown past Kilimanjaro several times, I thought it would be good challenge to climb it and raise money to buy nets and save lives. It will be a challenge - I am fit but have never climbed a mountain before (until recently when we did Snowdon as part of our training and that is a sixth of the size of Kili!! and that was hard).    more >>
