An LLIN is a mosquito net impregnated with insecticide.

The insecticide is cleverly bound within the fibres that make up the netting and is 'slow released' over a 4-5 year period. Hence 'long lasting'.

2,000 nets will be distributed in Singo village and housing pockets within an approximate 7 km radius to achieve blanket coverage of all sleeping spaces. The distribution falls broadly in two geographic areas, 'coastal' villages and 'inland' villages.
