As most of you know I am carrying out a PhD in malaria research, so doing something practical towards relieving the burden of malaria is something very close to my heart. I am taking part in a worldwide “swim for malaria” – a scheme set up to raise money for the purchase of bednets which will be distributed in areas of greatest need. All the money raised will go towards buying nets, and nothing will be wasted.    more >>
