One of the professors here at ISU (Dr. Bonning) is organizing this event and it sounds like a neat way to raise money for a worthy cause. Some of you may know this already but I use to swim competitively (a LONG time ago!). "Back in the day", as the kids say, I probably could have swam the distance of the English Channel... now, not so much. However, I will do my best to bring up our average and maybe throw a 100 IM (for the non swimmers, individual medley - 25m fly stoke, 25m back stroke, 25m breast stroke, and 25m free style) in there for kicks (maybe not, I don't think anyone wants to see my butterfly stroke!). more >>
