Post-swim update:

The final day of our championships was a freestyle celebration of swimming with events over 100m, 50m and the 25m dash. We had 4 novices aged 5/6 who swam their first ever 25m distance, we had over 200 personal best times achieved and several new club records. For all the details log on to www.wvsc.co.uk and search for club championships 2005 Results Part 6.
Afterwards we had our annual awards session with cups, medals, and certificates for the swimmers and we all went home in a warm glow (helped by mulled wine and mince pies for the grown up helpers) knowing we had raised £200 worth of malaria nets

Pre-swim:

December 3rd is the final day of our club championships when everyone swims freestyle 25m, 50m or 100m, followed by our annual awards ceremony where everyone gets to eat mince pies and go home weighed down by medals, trophies and certificates.
