The Gills Swim

A group of friends, mostly women in mid-life, with the odd daughter and husband thrown in, who have practised twice a week, for over 8 years, and most recently entered the World masters games in Edmonton last July at the challenge of our retiring coach, Kathy Francis. A " first meet " for many of us, with the aim of participation and often just to keep one's goggles on and reach the other end. Good fun, some personal bests and in the relays even had one member at age 89 years!
