Post-swim update:

A tremendouos effort by all swimmers enabled us to thrash our target. On the day we swam the distance of the channel (35km) in two hous and five minutes (our target was two and a half hours), and we went on to swim a total of 39.5km on the day. With those who swam before the day, and with warm up lenghts before the swim started, we completed 44.6km.
