Post-swim update:

My pregnant friend and I plodded up and down and swam a mile between us...felt good to do something active for a good cause.

Pre-swim:

This random assortment of swimmers will count their laps whether they are in Chapel Hill, NC or Auckland NZ. Folks can schedule a swim for any time on the weekend of December 3rd and 4th. From the child who makes it one length of the pool to championship swimmers who hydroplane for a mile or two, we are doing it the low key, non competitive way but it's worth it to see friends in shockingly skimpy speedos (avert eyes now) and of course buy as many bed nets as we can. more >>
