Post-swim update:

Two ladies swam their target of 10 kms each, and one young man swam about 12 kms.
The youngest swimmer was 4 years while the eldest was 53 years.
Swimming started at 8am and continued until after 7pm. Someone was swimming during those 11 hours.
One swimmer was hit by a stray golf ball from the neighbouring golf course - fortunately he was able to continue his swim after being treated by the ambulance that was kindly donated by Nile Breweries Ltd. more >>
