Post-swim update:

Ok,

So i hit the Musgrave pool in West End about 9:30, right after the most wonderful banana smoothie I could hope for. I had my suppoert team of Donna and Dad to both cheer me on and varify my claim!

Then In!! I had been swimming 1klm fairly regularly so was looking forward to finishing that first one and seeing how it felt to go for another. When the point came, it felt suprisingly easy! I was half expecting to be exhausted, but with the vision of so many people benefiting from my effort, the second Klm was actually much easier than the first!

So as I was approaching the wall on my 40th and final lap I glanced up at my support team for reassurance. more >>
