On March 12, 2009, the Austin community came together at Ruta Maya International Headquarters, 3601 S. Congress Avenue, for an incredible evening of music, dance, art, food, and a silent auction, all in the global effort to fight malaria.
Featured was music from MUSE OASIS; DON CHANI; THE DJEMBABES; and KRUDAS CUBENSI; with performances by SPANK DANCE; CAROLINE SUTTON CLARK; DEBRA MCADOO/AMANDA MCCORKLE/DILLAR SCHWARTZ; SCHAVE & REILLY; and SAKEBO DANCE AND DRUM ENSEMBLE.    more >>
