My name is Maggie Byrne and I am a sustainable agriculture volunteer with the Peace Corps in Senegal. One of the few items that set my living standards apart from those of my community is my mosquito net. Peace Corps gave it to me because it is so effective at keeping me a healthy and productive volunteer. (It has the added value of keeping out bugs and mice who roam in the night.) As I work to improve the organizational and technical capacity of the people in Kandery, I want to provide them with nets so that they too can be healthy and productive.
