Working with Retta at the NM Health Department was an invaluable experience. Her legacy will live on in the many lives she touched and inspired, which includes me. The embodiment of her legacy are her kind and gracious son and daughter, who displayed all her wonderful qualities during this difficult time. My sincerest condolences to them and her family. I hope to imitate the kind of person and leader Retta was to honor and remember her.
