仕事でケニア・ルワンダに計10ヶ月滞在しました。自身は「安全な水」に関するプロジェクトに従事してましたが、アフリカ諸国におけるマラリア疾患による死亡率の高さには大変驚きました。帰国後病気が発覚し、再渡航できなくなりましたが、自身の身体のリハビリとともに、アフリカの子供達のマラリア対策を考えながら泳ぎます。目標は2km、自身でも泳げた距離x1円/mの寄付をします。
