Hi. My name is Phil and I'm a junior at Hampden Academy. Until recently, I've been mainly preoccupied with things happening in my life (grades, relationships) or, at most, with my country (what Trump is up to), but not so long ago, I realized the unbelievable discrepancy between the life of the few lucky ones (us) and the very, very many others. Here in the US, when you get bitten by a mosquito the worst thing that can happen to you is itch, but in many places around the world, the consequence is unbearable agony followed by death.    more >>
