This is a universal coverage distribution (all sleeping spaces covered) of 12 districts with a population of 8 million people.
Accountability mechanisms have been agreed to ensure the right number of nets are given to each household and eliminate or minimise nets going missing.
These include 105% data collection where 5% of households are revisited as a check on numbers, independent whole-village re-registration of a number of villages as a further check on population numbers, and all household data being put in electronic form to facilitate error checking and verification.

Post-distribution
AMF conducts regular post-distribution monitoring (PDM) after net distributions to verify that nets are reaching and protecting communities as intended. PDMs are typically conducted at 9, 18 and 27 months post distribution. At each monitoring point we visit a randomly selected sample of households that received nets during the campaign. PDMs are funded by AMF and conducted by independent organisations separate to those involved in the distribution. Through these monitoring visits, we gather substantial data on net presence, use and condition which allows us and our partners to understand how effectively they are being used to protect against malaria. The results of the PDM(s) conducted for this distribution can be accessed in the report below.
