Hey everyone,

My housemate Sara currently works in a research lab investigating immune responses to Malaria and ways of improving outcome in patients upon treatment. Whilst the work she does will (hopefully!) ultimately help contribute to the development of more efficient vaccines and drugs, it unfortunately takes a long time!

Meanwhile, the most efficient way to significantly reduce the 1-3 million deaths caused by Malaria each year (>70% children) is to prevent people being bitten by infected mosquitoes in the 1st place. more >>
