My brother's doing the swim in the UK and sent me a link to his sponsorship page... I thought it'd be a good thing to do too, albeit on the other side of the world. (Global fundraising!) So here I am, 24 hours' notice, no practice, and haven't swum for more than a year. We're swimming for an hour and I'm aiming for a mile (1.6km); if I don't make it due to poor condition you can rest assured I will be suitably knackered at the end anyway!
