Post-swim update:

This was a very successful day. Pupils from the Key Stage 3 and 4 separate units came together with staff for the first time. Everyone was involved in taking turns swimming and counting the lengths. We had beginners and fairly strong swimmers all striving to beat their best! Several swam their first ever mile and one young boy his first non-stop 15 metres - his total swim eventually, with breaks was 121 metres!
Our Head Teacher, Moira Devlin, enthusiastically swam the first 10 lengths before driving to Birmingham for a meeting.    more >>
