Post-swim update:

At 1.00pm on Saturday 3rd December we had 52 swimmers lined up at the end of the pool for a mad 50 metre dash which began on the command of the Dubbo Pool Manager. Each swimmer survived (just) the mad splash and were then given a raffle ticket which was drawn to give two lucky swimmers the $25 gift vouchers supplied by Wild Dubbo.
Overall the day was a sucessful although windy celebration of the 70th birthday of the Dubbo Pool and also the World Swim For Malaria which was recognised through both newspaper stories in The Daily Liberal and live crosses by Star FM radio during the day. more >>
