My name is Rovianne Matovu. I'm from Uganda although registered British and live in London. I know from experience malaria is the number one killer in Africa. I've had it. It's no joke! And I was lucky because I could afford the medicine. As a Ugandan and an African, I want to help my people myself. It's not much but at least it is something. Swimming 200 lengths of a 25m pool (the official Swimathon distance) will be an exerted effort on my part, I can tell you! But what a great cause and what motivation I have for it.    more >>
