My name is Sara Maniscalco. I am a senior at Iowa State majoring in Animal Ecology with a minor in Entomology. I am currently enrolled in a medical entomology course where I am learning about the devastation that Malaria causes around the world. As Americans we do not think of this disease as a real threat.
