The thought of donning a swimming costume in this cold weather is not appealling but then again neither is the thought of so many children dying every day from a disease that is preventable with a simple bed net.

So with my goggles in my hand (so that I don't lose my contact lenses) and a map (I need to locate the gym having never dared to enter it beforehand) I will be swimming and doing my bit!

So seeing that I am prepared to bare my cellulite to the realms of SW1, I think that alone deserves a donation of some kind!

I am aiming to swim 1000 metres which in my unfit state might push me into an A&E ward at Chelsea & Westminster!
